Our Associates and partners not only contribute dollars, but annually donate valuable time to support our charities.
Steadfast Giving Tree Foundation
The Steadfast Giving Tree Foundation was founded in 2016 to better marshal our charitable efforts. The Steadfast Giving Tree Foundation is an Associate volunteer program that focuses on key events and other revenue generating activities that benefit the many charities the foundation supports. Regular events include fundraising, volunteer activities and donation drives. Over the past five-plus years, through its fund-raising efforts, including its annual Santa Fun Run, the Foundation has raised more than $500,000 to help those in need, and has collected boxes and boxes of food, clothes, school supplies and toys.
Orange County Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope
Orange County Rescue Mission’s Village of Hope. The Village of Hope, a 192-bed transitional housing program for homeless men, women and children, opened in March 2008 with the arrival of 30 men from the Rescue Mission’s shelter in Santa Ana. The Children’s Dream Center, a 6,000 square foot center located on the Village campus, was completed three months later in July and the Rescue Mission began admitting single homeless women with children and intact families.
The Village of Hope serves homeless single men, single women, single women with children, single men with children, and two parent families. The largest homeless sub-population on the Village of Hope campus is single women with children.
Thomas House Family Shelter
Thomas House Family Shelter was founded in 1986 by a group of Orange County residents who were members of St. Barbara’s Catholic Church. Its mission is to provide a safe, supportive environment and the resources necessary for homeless families with children to remain together while empowering them to become independent and self-sufficient. Thomas House does much more than shelter homeless families–they offer an opportunity to permanently change lives. Thomas House is a goal-oriented, life changing program that offers comprehensive services designed to help families attain permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
Project Access
Project Access strives to be the leading provider of vital health, education and employment services to families, children and seniors living in low-income and workforce housing communities. Its goal is to help keep family members employed, children in school, and seniors active.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. The primary work of the Food Bank is acquiring and distributing donated and surplus food. Food sources include local grocery stores and supermarket chains, food manufacturers and distributors, restaurants, trade shows, harvesting efforts, food drives, the government, and private individuals.
Orangewood Children’s Foundation
The Orangewood Children’s Foundation began over 30 years ago with a vision to build a facility to shelter Orange County children who were the victims of abuse, neglect and abandonment.
In a unique effort that is proving to be a model for nationwide replication, Orangewood Children’s Foundation has partnered with a group of concerned business leaders to implement the innovative Rising Tide Communities, a holistic program that provides a complete range of independent living services. Orangewood Children’s Foundation currently utilizes two residential apartment complexes for this program in Tustin and Garden Grove, CA. Several apartments in each complex are set aside from the general public for use by the youth. An on-site community coordinator provides structured guidance, advice and counseling on a variety of topics and plays a critical role in crisis intervention.

HomeWord was founded in 1985 by Jim Burns in response to an overwhelming need of parents and families. HomeWord is a Christian organization driven by four pillars: strong marriages, confident parents, empowered kids and healthy leaders. Its efforts help to provide resources and training that will strengthen and prepare leaders and parents and restore families.
Employee Assistance Fund
Steadfast Employee Assistance Fund (EAF) is a charitable account funded by Steadfast associates for Steadfast associates. Any Associate of Steadfast Companies experiencing unexpected financial hardship or emergency needs is eligible for financial assistance, subject to certain application procedures.
