Steadfast Resort Properties, led by Luis Garcia, was created to acquire resort properties in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Steadfast Resort Properties business model includes two principal businesses: the ownership and management of resort hotels and identifying and capitalizing on hospitality-related opportunities in Latin America.

The Resort Properties Division seeks to acquire under performing hospitality assets with attractive upside. Acquired properties are managed by IHR of Mexico, a joint venture between Steadfast Companies and Interstate Hotels and Resorts (OTC: IHRI). The company currently manages and provides services for the resorts in Cabo San Lucas, Ixtapa and Manzanillo, Mexico.

Since 2005, Steadfast hotels and resorts have been named “Tesoro Resorts,” its own hotel brand and first Mexican all-inclusive brand.

The name Tesoro translates to “treasure” in Spanish. The Tesoro Resorts brand is designed to provide discerning leisure travelers with incredible value and spectacular settings to enjoy the most treasured moments in life: time spent with family, friends and loved ones.
