Rodney F. Emery, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Steadfast Companies

Mr. Emery is responsible for corporate vision, strategy and overall guidance of the operations. He is also the managing partner of the Steadfast Management Committee for the Steadfast Companies, which establishes policy, makes major investment decisions and acts as the general oversight committee. Prior to founding Steadfast Companies in late 1994, Mr. Emery served for 17 years as the President of Cove Properties, a diversified commercial real estate firm specializing in property management, construction and development. Mr. Emery is a graduate of the University of Southern California and serves on the board of directors of several non-profits.

 
R. Kyle Winning, President, Steadfast Residential Properties

Mr. Winning is responsible for all multifamily investments as well as multifamily-related construction/rehabilitation projects, asset management and property management for the Residential Properties Division. Mr. Winning is currently responsible for the operation of more than 14,500 residential units in 18 states, the majority of which are affordable housing properties financed with tax-exempt bonds, low income housing tax credits and/or financing with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Prior to joining Steadfast Companies in 1999, Mr. Winning was a joint venture partner with Steadfast Companies in seven properties acquired in 1998 as a partner of McCord Development in Houston, Texas. From 1984 to 1997, Mr. Winning was a partner and senior officer of The Judwin Companies, a multifamily and commercial developer based in Houston, Texas.  Mr. Winning is a graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and received his graduate degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

 
Robert M. “Bob” Murray, President, Commercial Properties

As President of the Commercial Properties Division, Bob Murray oversees all aspects of Steadfast Companies commercial real estate activities, including the acquisition, development, management and disposition of commercial properties.  Since joining Steadfast Companies in 1996, Mr. Murray has overseen the development of more than 200 acres of land and over 4,000,000 square feet of commercial real estate in the Western United States, including office, industrial and retail, with an emphasis in retail development.  Mr. Murray currently has responsibility for the operation and stabilization of the Steadfast Companies’ five retail malls.  Mr. Murray has been involved in real estate development, acquisition, and disposition for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Steadfast Companies, Mr. Murray was associated with Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate, where he participated in the construction, leasing and sale of commercial real estate in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties in California. Mr. Murray is a graduate of California State University at Los Angeles.

 
Robert J. Searles, President, Business Properties

As President of the Business Properties division, Mr. Searles is responsible for acquisition of real estate, due diligence and coordination of all development activities. He is also a partner on the Steadfast Management Committee.  Prior to joining Steadfast in 2004, Mr. Searles served for 25 years as President of Searles Devcorp, a real estate acquisition and development firm with operating entities in construction, development and property management.  Mr. Searles is a graduate of the University of Southern California and serves on the boards of several non-profits.

 
Luis Garcia, President, Steadfast Resort Properties

Mr. Garcia joined Steadfast Companies in 2005 to build its Resort Properties Division, capitalizing on his language skills and prior experience to acquire and develop resort properties in Latin America.  He started his professional career with KPMG LLP in 1985, and in 1994 transferred to the Mexico City Office of KPMG to serve as an International Tax Partner and National Director of Tax & Legal Services, where he sereved until 2002.  Mr. Garcia is a graduate of the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, California Society of CPA’s and ULI.

 
Dinesh K. Davar, Chief Financial Officer, Steadfast Companies

Mr. Davar is responsible for overall accounting and finance operations, including all reporting, budgeting and treasury functions, for the Steadfast Companies. Mr. Davar also coordinates financing and accounting functions for Steadfast Companies’ properties located within the United States and Latin America. Prior to joining Steadfast Companies in 1996, Mr. Davar was an independent loan consultant handling both residential and commercial mortgage loans. During 1994 and 1995, Mr. Davar served as a consultant for The Resolution Trust Corporation with respect to loan modifications and the control, management and sale of assets and asset pools. From 1980 to 1992, Mr. Davar served as Chief Financial Officer of Cove Properties, a diversified real estate development firm specializing in property management, construction and development. While at Cove Properties, Mr. Davar oversaw all aspects of the company’s various real estate transactions, including, financing, acquisition, development, property management, and disposition. Mr. Davar was educated as a Chartered Accountant in New Delhi, India, and is a graduate of Meerut University, in Meerut, India.

 
Ana Marie del Rio, Chief Administrative Officer/General Counsel, Steadfast Companies

Ms. del Rio manages the Human Resources, Information Technology and Legal Services Departments for the Company and is responsible for risk management and all legal matters. She also works closely with Steadfast Management Company, Inc. and SAH Affordable Housing, Inc. in the management and operation of the company’s affordable residential units, especially in the area of compliance. Prior to joining Steadfast Companies, Ms. del Rio was a partner in the public finance group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, LLP, where she practiced from September 1993 to April 2003, representing both issuers and underwriters in financing single-family and multifamily housing, transportation projects, and other types of public-private and redevelopment projects. From 1979 to 1993, Ms. del Rio owned and operated a campaign consulting and research company specializing in local campaigns and ballot measures. Ms. del Rio received a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1993, and received a M.P.A. in 1978 and B.A. in 1976 from the University of Southern California.

 
J. Grayson Sanders, President, Steadfast Advisor Group & CEO, Steadfast Capital Markets Group

Mr. Sanders is responsible for the creation and management of investment programs and overseeing the marketing and distribution efforts of SCMG. Mr. Sanders has a career spanning 38 years in real estate investment management. Prior to joining Steadfast, Mr. Sanders served as president of CNL Fund Advisors Company, where he created and managed a global real estate securities mutual fund, and also served as president of CNL Capital Markets. Previously, he was the managing director of marketing with AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. in New York and Senior Managing Director for CB Richard Ellis Investors in Los Angeles. From 1991 to 1996 he was Director of Real Estate for Ameritech Pension Trust in Chicago where he managed the $1.5 billion real estate allocation within the $13 billion defined benefit plan. Mr. Sanders is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received his MBA from Stanford Business School.

 
Aaron G. Cook, President, Steadfast Capital Markets Group

As president of SCMG, Mr. Cook will oversee business and product development, operations, finance, sales, marketing and have supervisory responsibility for the company. He has more than 13 years of securities and financial services industry experience and has supervised and assisted in the placement of more than $1.3 billion of investor equity in real estate investment offerings over the last several years. Mr. Cook formerly served as executive vice president and national sales manager for a national real estate sponsor, and as managing director and national sales manager for Grubb and Ellis Investors (F.K.A. Triple Net Properties, LLC), where he and his team reorganized and developed the wholesale distribution systems. Mr. Cook is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
